Our Home Place, Inc. is a small production enterprise designed to assist authors and visual artists who wish to make their work available to the public. We specialize in producing books in print, electronic books, and audio books. We also produce digital images of visual art.

Our Home Place, Inc. was founded in 2002 as a cottage industry. The company was initially inactive while we equipped ourselves for this creative endeavor. We operate the business from our home, hence the name Our Home Place, Inc.

Check out the Giblets tab, a page that changes several times each week. Giblets is a culinary term defined as the edible innards of a chicken, turkey, or other fowl. We remember our grandmothers fixing giblet gravy, a favorite in Southern cuisine. Typically, the heart, the gizzard, and the liver were chopped and mixed with bits of boiled egg, onion, and celery to make the seasoned milk sauce.

From time to time on the Giblets page we will offer words of encouragement for imaginative minds. Writers, musicians, gardeners, and artists know that the creative process is a visceral experience. It derives from the very core of our being. Giblets will be bits and pieces of wit, wisdom, and truth gleaned from our experience and from others who create.
